What is Student Chess Haarlem?
Student Chess Haarlem is a casual chess evening for students who want to play, learn a bit, and meet other people. Young professionals are also welcome to join.
No course, no pressure. Just chess as a social activity. Beginners and more experienced players are welcome.
What happens on a typical evening?
- A short intro and theme to get started
- Free play, drinks, snacks and time to meet other students
- Guidance available if you’re new to chess
Some evenings include extra fun elements! Towards the end, there will be an optional mini tournament for those who feel like it. And an opportunity to play a game against a chess master.
